Web developers and testers have known about the subject of "Localization" or "Globalization", which basically involves the translation of web pages into various languages, thereby allowing companies to reach a "global public". More recently, companies have begun applying this technology to their GUI and Legacy applications in greater numbers as they enter into the global marketplace. This presents some new issues for software testers, adding yet another degree of complexity to their already demanding jobs. We have devoted this page to presenting a number of relevant and useful links on the subject. If you know of any additional links that you think would be of interest, submit them to us, and we'll include them on this page.
