Independent Computer Consultant 1999 – present

Provided software/hardware support for 12 business and 50 residential clients.

Developed Web sites for business clients including design and programming.

  • Developing a Web page for University Printing, The University of Chicago. (still under construction).

  • Executed testing scripts that saved three days of work. Using Rational SQA robot.
  • Tested EDI 856 (Purchasing), 832 (Catalog), and 810 (Invoicing) Parsers and Viewers. Used a proprietary Visual C++ application.

Responsible for the installation and configuration of a 20 PC network for use in a Cyber Café.

  • Installed and configured DOS based games for Windows 95.

Modified scripts for a proprietary Competitive Market Analysis (CMA)application. The script editor was a program written in Pascal, Dos version 3.3 and above.

  • Researched and developed product upgrades.
  • Tested CMA and wrote Bug reports.
  • Conducted beta testing for new software development.
  • Provided telephone help-desk support for users who purchased the software. Handled over 20 calls per day
