Involved in Planning, Execution and Bug Tracking using Test Director and Win Runner 5.0 for Eastern Imports Inc. The application was to keep the up to date records of customer status, such as last purchase details - amount, items, quantity, price, mode of payments, last discussion, next action to be taken on which date, time etc. The planning process consisted of 5 stages such as defining testing goals, test subjects, designing tests, test steps and automating tests. Various testing techniques were used such as system testing, stress testing, security testing, installation testing, performance and load testing.
Recording of test scripts was performed using TSL, C language designed for creating scripts. The GUI objects and Bitmaps were checked, visual programming was used to add functionality and logic to the test scripts. Used Test Director to create new database and customized it to meet the requirements of the application, creating test plans, designing, running tests and tracking defects.
Oriental Travel Inc. Nov 97 - Dec’98
SQA Tester
Involved in Testing the Application for Oriental Travel Inc. The system handles keeping records of the flight reservation program of various customers, originating and destination places, date of travel, no. of tickets, amount, daily total & cumulative tickets sold, fax orders, preparing monthly reports etc of all transactions. SQA Manager, SQA Robot, SQA test log viewer were used for test planning, test development, defect tracking, reporting of defects and analyzing the summary of reports.
Different types of tests such as Integration Tests, Regression Tests, Functional Tests, User Interface Tests, Volume Tests and Performance Tests were performed on the application. The application was developed in Visual Basic as front end with Oracle 7.0 as back end.

Programmer
Involved in setting up a Computerized system in Distribution Warehouse. The work involved setting the System for codification of all materials & locations, receipt of materials, issue of orders, issue of materials for delivery, preparation of invoices, etc. The application was designed in Visual basic as front end with MS Access as the back end. Created list of inventory. Details of all purchases and sales. Separate screens were developed for placing orders, receipts & issues.
