EXPERIENCE: 

• Developed an Automated Testing Methodology and ToolKit for Mercury Interactive's WinRunner test tool containing a set of customized functions, which facilitate the generation of accurate and robust test scripts for the WinRunner product.  This now includes additional functionality for testing Internet/Intranet and E-Commerce applications.

• Specific functions were developed for a number of WinRunner-supported platforms, including Terminal Emulation (MainFrame and AS/400 applications), Client/Server (95/NT) applications, and Web/E-Commerce applications. Automated Testing Methodology includes a method of Test Script development based on using MS Excel spreadsheets that can then be used as input to the automated tool, thereby eliminating the duplication of effort between manual test plan development and automated script development.

• Implemented this methodology at ADP Tax & Financial Services as part of their Year 2000 testing.

• Developed AS/400 automated testing solutions using WinRunner for J. D. Edwards & Co., and TransAmerica Financial Services.

• Developed WinRunner testing solutions for IBM Canada (TPF/MainFrame applications), and PacifiCare Health Systems (SQL Windows application).

• Developed WinRunner testing solution for MineShare, Inc. incorporating parameter-based input into the previously developed "testplan-driven" testing methodology

• Developed SilkTest web-testing solutions utilizing the previously developed WinRunner web-testing methodology for SBC Inc. (PacBell: www.smartpages.com)

• Constructed and performed Web-Testing Demos for both WinRunner and SilkTest to assist Omnikron's Sales Dept.

• Performed internal Q/A and Testing functions for Omnikron's WorkFlow & Imaging Group, and assisted in implementing a standard System Development Life Cycle for all Omnikron projects.

• Developed and documented Standard Testing Procedures for both manual and automated testing.

• Developed Testing Policies and Procedures and instituted Test Plan design & development procedures now in use by the Quality Assurance Department.
• Developed Project Management and System Life Cycle Development methodologies for the Equities Development Division in conjunction with the EDP Auditing Dept.
• Improved and expanded the Order-Traffic simulation test tools for Unit-Testing, Functional-Testing, and Regression-Testing.
• Developed and implemented testing procedures and test tools to be used in their new P/COAST Trading System
• Assisted with the creation of PSE's current Test Environment on the new system.

• Designed, developed, coded, & maintained the VPARS Transaction Simulation Test Facility which was capable of simulating all processors connected to the First Interstate Network. This test-tool was able to not only simulate all message-traffic to and from First Interstate correspondents, but was also capable of generating an infinite number of error and exception conditions necessary for fully testing all software modifications made to either the IBM Host or Tandem Front-End Processors.
• Simulator consisted of over 400 programs written in IBM 370 Assembler under TPF. This tool became the primary vehicle for both Unit and System Testing at First Interstate Services Company.
• Developed Standard System Documentation for the above using SDM-70 System Development Methodology. Complete User's Manual was also developed.
• Assisted in developing the Certification and Functional-Testing methodology in use at First Interstate Services, and helped to design the file-structures and testing methodology for the DCATS test tool.
